Highlander Lacrosse is looking for two head coaches and two assistant coaches for our boys 3/4 teams this spring. If you’ve ever thought about coaching, this is a great place to start.

Youth rec sports don’t happen without parents and community members who step up. Every practice, game, and “first goal” celebration happens because someone gave their time. At the 3/4 level, coaching is less about X’s and O’s and more about helping kids learn the basics, build confidence, and fall in love with the game.

You don’t need to be a lacrosse expert. If you’re patient, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with kids, you’ve got what it takes. We’ll support you along the way:

• Coaching resources and training through USA Lacrosse, including free certification courses and the Mobile Coach app, which has hundreds of drills and ready-made practice plans
• Guidance from experienced Highlander coaches who’ve been in your shoes
• A league culture built on “Honoring the Game,” so the focus stays on fun, respect, and development
• Free player registration for your kids who are playing

All coaches will need a USA Lacrosse membership and Bronze certification, which includes a background check and safety training. We’ll walk you through it.
