Before enrolling your child for the 2024 spring lacrosse season, please ensure they are registered with the U.S. Lacrosse Association by obtaining a U.S. Lacrosse Membership number at www.uslacrosse.org. Once you have acquired the US Lacrosse number, proceed to register your player here on the Highlander Lacrosse website.Teams TiersChillax | Kindergarten, 1st-2nd grade3/4 grade girls 3/4 grade boys5/6 grade girls5/6 grade boys7/8 grade girls7/8 grade boysNewcomers to the sport are welcome at every tier!EquipmentPlayers must come equipped with their own gear, which includes a stick and appropriate protective equipment. For boys, this gear comprises a mouthguard, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, cup, and helmet. Girls need a stick, goggles and a mouthguard.Equipment can be borrowed for kindergarten through to 6th-grade players based on availability (sticks, goalie equipment). If you need equipment, we encourage you to reach out as we are always striving to reuse gear that has been outgrownPractices and GamesOur official outdoor practices take place at Mad River Park, commencing in April. Some team coaches may also arrange pre-season indoor sessions before April. Practices run 1-1.5 hours on average and happen 2x during the weekday.Games are scheduled to kick off during the first week of May and continue through mid-June. Games are jamboree style with teams participating in two games during the jamboree.
